What The Kennel Bench is
The Kennel Bench is an independent reading of the public record of Soul Guardian Bulldogs, a Greek bulldog kennel whose website ran from about 2010 to 2013.
The Kennel Bench is a workbench, not a kennel. Its pages named the dogs, published pedigrees, announced litters, recorded shows, kept a guestbook, and mourned the animals it lost.
What a sheet is
Each entry here takes one part of that record and pins it like a draft on a bench: a named dog measured against the breed standard it was shown under, a litter treated as work in progress, a show result filed with its date. The sheets are ordered by when they would have mattered to the kennel, not by importance.
What this site is not
Nothing here is a puppy for sale, a stud available, or a current address. Names and dates are quoted as historical record; the photographs on this bench are illustrations, not the kennel's own pictures.
The rule that governs
A kennel measured its dogs against a written standard; this bench measures the record itself, sheet by sheet.
